The ColdPlay couple, there are so many re-enactments but the audio stayed the same. Over and over I heard "They either are having an affair or they are very shy..." My punny mind twisted it to say "They are having eclairs and they are very shy" and came up with the drawing. By hand, on a dry-erase board. Not a work of AI, which I poked fun at by drawing extra arms on the people in the picture. Maybe AI will be perfect in the future but for now it cannot handle fingers and appendages. Most humans have only five fingers, two arms, and two legs, but AI often gives them extra fingers, or longish fingers, or feet where hands should be.

ZHENG CONCERT, FLUSHING LIBRARY 2 PM MAY 26, 2012
And now for something completely different... a musical concert featuring classical Chinese music!
The maestro is Changyuan Wang. Her students will also perform, among which will be my wife doing a solo. My son and niece will be in the audience. I will play chauffeur transporting the bulky instruments in their cases. I will also play porter with the instruments during setup and take-down.
If you are in the area on Saturday, come by and say hello. Look for a Chinese man with eyeglasses. How hard can it be to find such a person in Flushing, New York?

And Now, A Word From Our Sponsor - Zheng Concert
What's your schedule on Sunday, April 4, 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM? How about check out the First Annual Zheng in the Spring Concert at NYC's Carnegie Hall!
For those who do not know, the gu-zheng (古爭) or just zheng for short, is an instrument of Classical Chinese music. As shown in the poster, it is a plucked string instrument. The positions of the bridges (those small pieces that slightly raise the strings) affect the major in use. The gu-zheng figures prominently in Chinese history and literature, but to me, the kung-fu movie junkie, Kung Fu Hustle has one of the more famous zheng scene in recent memory.
My wife, son, and niece will be in the performance. No kidding. Although the kids do not like it, as they are all shy, the performance will be good for them. In the future, should they want to follow a musical career, their resumes sure look good with reference to Carnegie Hall, even if it's the smaller hall of the famous place.
Give me a call and leave a message with info to get back to you if you are interested in attending the concert. Click on the "poster" for details.
