Bronx Half-Marathon, Photos from My Cell Phone's Camera

I thought I would have some free time to snap photos of my old neighborhood. The Kingsbridge area of the Bronx was my first home in the U.S., albeit for just half a year. Unfortunately, I got to the race late, had a hard time finding parking, then after the race I had to attend a luncheon to celebrate the 90+ birthday for the in-laws' clan matriarch. I took some photos along the race though, mostly the mile markers.

  1. Thanks for sharing the photos and the details about the race. It was on my agenda to visit the neighborhood (Fordham Road) but did not happen - must try to do that the next time I am in NYC.
Thanks for your encouragement - I started to miss being more active and feel alive from running.
Take good care of that hip. Hang in there with the home renovation project - it will be great once it is done :)
    Have a good week.

  3. Glad you like it, AJ. Too bad I won't be back at the race this year, even though I already paid for it. Will be out of town that weekend, most likely, but alas NYRR does not allow transfer of the bib so I will just take the shirt and bib as mementos.
